DAY 1 – Arrival and Navigation through Yahuarcaca
Arrival in Leticia, reception, and transfer to the river dock. River navigation through the Yahuarcaca Creek (during high-water season) toward the Tekuna Lodge Indigenous Reserve. Lunch and accommodation.
In the afternoon, scenic boat tour on the Yahuarcaca Lakes, with the option to swim and enjoy the sunset (weather permitting).
At night, boat excursion along the creek for nocturnal wildlife observation. Dinner and overnight stay at Tekuna Lodge.
DAY 2 – Marasha Nature Reserve (Peru)
Breakfast and boat departure to Peru. Hike along flooded forest trails to the Marasha Nature Reserve.
Accommodation and activities: artisanal fishing, canoe or kayak ride on the lake, birdwatching (including hoatzins), and visit to a 400-year-old ceiba tree.
After dinner, nighttime canoeing for nocturnal wildlife observation. Overnight at Marasha.
DAY 3 – Mocagua Community and Maikuchiga Sanctuary
Breakfast and departure toward the Amazon River. Boat trip to Puerto Alegría (Peru) for a brief cultural presentation.
Visit to Monkey Island and continuation to Amazon Açaí Lodge for welcome drinks, lunch, and accommodation.
In the afternoon, visit to the Indigenous Community of Mocagua and hike along the Maikuchiga Trail to learn about primate rehabilitation processes.
Return to the lodge, dinner, and nighttime hike in terra firme forest.
DAY 4 – Ticuna Culture and Puerto Nariño
Breakfast and visit to a traditional Ticuna maloca to learn about crops, medicinal plants, stories, crafts, and traditional practices, including blowgun and bow demonstrations.
Traditional lunch and departure to Puerto Nariño for a guided walking tour and visit to the Naipata viewpoint.
Navigation to the Tarapoto Lakes for swimming and possible sightings of pink and gray river dolphins.
Return to Amazon Açaí Lodge and dinner.
DAY 5 – Return to Leticia and City Tour
Breakfast and boat transfer to Leticia.
City Tour of Leticia and Tabatinga: local market, artisan galleries, Colombia–Brazil border zone, commercial district, and Comara viewpoint.
Transfer to the airport.
