Day 1

• Arrival at the Alfredo Vásquez Cobo Airport in the city of Leticia.

• Meeting with your guide for the excursion, reception, departure in the Amazon tour vehicle, making a 14 km journey along the Leticia road via Tarapacá.

• Jungle trek: we will make an incursion into the jungle of the mainland, during our tour we will recognize species of use in ethnobotany, knowing the dynamics of the jungle.

• Set up a jungle camp with hammocks and mosquito nets.

• Campfire to accompany the night.

• Dinner in the jungle

• Night walk, sensitization sounds of the jungle, observation of the "moon road" luminescent mushrooms and insects of the jungle.

Day 2

• Breakfast at 7: 30 am

• Unset up the jungle camp.

• Jungle walk to the Community of San Pedro and Tekuna Indigenous Reserve.

• Observation of the fauna of the mainland jungle, the largest forest in the Amazon basin.

• Observation of the extraction of rubber latex or syringa.

• Following our journey through the jungle to the indigenous community of Ticuna de San Pedro.

• Wildlife observation of the mainland area. (Approximately 3 hours of walking).

• We arrived to the indigenous community of San Pedro (Indigenous Ticunas of the mainland).

• During the visit to the community we will know about their activities in the day, the products derived from crops, we will make a brief cultural exchange with the residents of the community knowing the Ticuna language.

• After our visit to the community of San Pedro.

• We sail in traditional wooden canoe of the natives by water trails of the Yahuarcaca creek to the Yahuarcaca lakes.

• Tour through jungle flooded landscapes of water jungle trails. (The activity of visiting the community of San Pedro and touring the Yahuarcaca gorge only applies to the high water months from November to June).

• Arrival to the Tekuna Indigenous Reserve, welcome.

• Lunch at the Tekuna Indigenous Reserve.

• Fishing activity in the lakes of Yahuarcaca.

• During our tour we will recognize the landscapes of the flooded forest.

• Swimming activity in the lakes of Yahuarcaca.

• Dinner

• Night excursion by artisanal canoe over Lake Yahuarcaca, to observe nocturnal fauna.

• Accommodation in cabins with beds and private bathroom.

 

Day 3

• Breakfast at 7: 30 am

• Departure by craft boat or canoe, navigate the imposing Amazon River downstream to Leticia.

• Location of the imaginary point of the three borders Brazil, Peru and Colombia.

• Visit to the Island of Santa Rosa (Peru) tour of the island.

• Visit the market of Leticia (Colombia) and artisan galleries, the border of Brazil and Colombia.

• Visit to Tabatinga (Brazil), tour of the Tabatinga market, the commercial area of ​​Tabatinga, the Comara viewpoint.

• Transfer to the airport one hour before the flight.
